Aidanfield Christian School
Composite school in Christchurch, New Zealand
Aidanfield Christian School provides educational opportunities for students from 5 to 15 years of age (Year 1 -10). We are a Christian school in a large, park-like setting yet still part of the city. Our values and view of the world are shaped by the Bible. This means we have a very strong focus on good character and citizenship while achieving excellent academic learning.
Because of our focus on our pupils and excellent staff, we know and care for our students very well. Our school has a focus on excellence in academic learning. Most of our classes have between 17 - 27 students in them which means we can treat each child as an individual.
Strong academic programmes ensure that over 85% of all of our students are at or above national expectations in reading, writing and mathematics. We also have strong targeted programmes to accelerate students who are below standard or require extra support learning English.
We understand that moving to another country is a significant decision for any family and at Aidanfield Christian School we appreciate the commitment each family makes to give their child the best opportunities available. This is why we seek the best for every child.
Our values of Excellence, Faithfulness, Integrity and Stewardship guide our approach to teaching and learning and we take great delight in seeing each of our students succeed. We look forward to hearing from you.
Yours in His service

About Christchurch
Christchurch is the South Island’s largest city and the gateway to Canterbury. Rebuilt with modern spaces and riverside precincts, it pairs established schools and tertiary options with easy access to beaches, the Port Hills, Banks Peninsula and alpine recreation.
Canterbury Region
The Canterbury Region on New Zealand’s South Island is a region of dramatic contrast — from sweeping plains, mighty braided rivers and the high Southern Alps through to coastal beaches at the Pacific. It encompasses the major city of Christchurch and wide rural districts, making it both a centre of culture and a backbone of agriculture and industry. The region’s economic strength, combined with space for growth and educational infrastructure, makes it well-suited for international students who want access to big-city amenities and outdoor adventure.
